Biography

Margaret Troka Hogan founded The Foundation for Nager and Miller Syndromes in 1989 after the birth of her daughter, Bridget Ieronimo.  Bridget was born with Miller Syndrome, which was almost unheard of at the time.  Margaret, being a woman of action, kicked into high gear and began a Support Group for parents of children born with Miller Syndrome and was soon joined by Pamela Seimens-Colby, the mother of Melissa LeBaron who was born with Nager Syndrome.  Margaret, networked away and built the Foundation to the size it is today almost single handedly by fundraising through friends, family and business associates as well.  FNMS still enjoys the support of many of these same folks from the Glenview and Chicago, Illinois area.  Margaret and Bridget are still active members and huge supporters of the foundation.
